Y Travel and Trans World Travel, two independent Melbourne-based companies, decided to unite and strengthen their respective offerings.
Yvonne Verstandig, who co-founded Executive Edge Travel over 20 years ago, used the time during the pandemic to reassess what she wanted to offer her clients as the travel sector reemerges in this new landscape.
To those that know her, Yvonne’s knowledge, experience, passion and creative energy comes as no surprise. Y Travel, Yvonne’s newly created business, focuses on helping clients discover their travel passions through a unique curatory process - all aimed at expanding people’s experiences, knowledge and purpose.
Rob and Karen Mackie, co-founders of Trans World Travel, a Virtuoso member agency and luxury travel specialist, bring 42 years of experience and goodwill to the table. They welcome the joining of forces with Y Travel knowing that the creative prowess of Yvonne will help evolve the new conglomeration for the next challenging and thrilling chapter.
This mutual admiration has galvanised into one new business, and is itching for the world to start opening up once more. They all have a strong belief in the power of travel, be it locally or abroad, knowing first-hand the enrichment it can bring to people's lives.
