Sitting on the white sands of Bo'a Beach on the remote southern edge of Indonesia, NIHI Rote recently marked it’s soft opening by welcoming its first guests to 21 villas and duplex estates, each with a private plunge pool and direct access to a stretch of coastline that remains blissfully, almost defiantly, undiscovered. The official opening is set for October 2026. Getting there is part of the adventure: guests fly from Bali to Kupang, then take a short Caravan charter to Rote Island itself, keeping connections between the three airports brief.
