Y Travel End of Year Retreat

TEAM INFORMATION

Bali - November 2025

Hey Team! Can you believe it’s that time of year again? Not long now until we’re in the beautiful, lush surrounds of COMO Uma Ubud for three full days of inspiration, education, elevation, and of course, incredible immersive experiences that encompass each of our Y Factors.

As per last year we will be doing a group photo with the entire team, in a spectacular Balinese location. This will be added to our website, and also used across other marketing platforms throughout the coming year. It is a perfect way to showcase the gorgeous, talented and passionate team that we are lucky to have here at Y Travel, which is why we need to set a ‘theme’ that shows your individual style, while still connecting with our Y Travel branding.

We will also be conducting short video interviews with each of you, which will be fun, relaxed, and give us the opportunity to showcase each of your personalities and your love of what you do, helping us to elevate your professional profiles as the passionate curators of travel you are. You will be given your Q&A’s for this closer to the date so you’re prepared with your answers, but the aim is to keep it light and conversational, so don’t stress about ‘memorising your lines’ - it’s about your experiences, your words, and your unique and authentic ‘voice’.

We have created mood boards for your outfits for each of these sessions below. These are a general guide in terms of style, colours, etc, but we also want you to feel comfortable and confident, so please feel free to put your own personality and style into your outfits within the guidelines we’ve outlined.

As you scroll down the mood board you’ll come across a heading that says ‘More Like This’ - these are NOT part of our selections so please don’t refer to colours etc that are shown in this part of the page.

Group Photo - Outfit Guide

  • Think ‘Resort Chic’ - with tones of white, cream, beige, muted greens (not too dark) and maybe a touch of ‘Y Travel’ orange.

  • No black or ‘vibrant’ colours.

  • Loose, light, relaxed and tropical, but not too casual.

  • No patterns or prints please (unless super subtle) - please check with marketing if unsure

  • These images will be done in a stunning outdoor setting, and will do double duty as your dinner outfits that evening.

Video Interview - Outfit Guide

  • ‘Relaxed smart casual’ with a summer vibe.

  • Dress to your personality - what you might wear to the office on a hot day.

  • Subtle stripes or patterns are OK, as long as not too visually ‘loud’, and preferably combined with a solid colour.

  • Other colours (preferably not too bright), darker tones, or lightweight denim may also be incorporated into your interview look
